This will be the final batch of photos from my Northern Ireland Trip. They were taken around the ruined Dunluce Castle and the last photo is a sculpture in Belfast. Some photos are HDR and some aren't.
All about my stumbling through life and my various projects to keep me occupied. Mostly photography orientated, but with whatever else I feel like thrown in as well.

Photography: Dunseverick Castle and Rathlin Island
Another Batch of photos from my Northern Ireland Trip. These are from the tiny, ruined Dunseverick Castle, and Rathlin Island, just off the coast. Some of them are HDR and some aren't.

Photography: Carrick-A-Rede
Time for some more photos from my trip to Northern Ireland. After Giant's Causeway, I went to visit Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. It an old fishermen's rope bridge to reach good fishing sites. I didn't get any good pictures of the bridge itself as there were too many people around, but I got some good pictures of the coastline. Once again I opted for HDR to pretend that the light was interesting.

Photography: Giant's Causeway Part 1
So a while ago, I started writing about a trip to Northern Ireland. These are some of my HDR photos from Giant's Causeway. Seeing as i took so many, these are mainly of the approach to the causeway. Giant's Causeway is made up of basalt columns and stretches all the way to Scotland. People used to think it couldn't possibly be natural, as it's so regular and weird-looking. They believed it was made by a giant.

Photography: Instagram
About a year and a half ago I made myself an Instagram account. I snap quite a lot of pretty things with my phone when I'm out and about and then I would always forget to post them to Facebook afterwards and no one would ever see them. so I started an Instagram for pretty phone snaps, and as a bonus it was somewhere where more people could see them other than just my Facebook friends. I used to really like Instagram. It was just a group of people sharing beautiful things and it was a nice, peaceful break from all the anger on Facebook. But then, as seems to happen, it got slightly ruined for me by getting too big. Now it seems like it's full of photo thieves with duplicate accounts just wanting to make a quick buck. Still, along with friends I've also got myself a few dedicated followers who are not people I know, which is nice, and I still enjoy sharing my photos of pretty things.
So, here's a link to my Instagram.

Mugs
Here are a few cool mugs we've acquired.
This one is my favorite. The man on it is Uncle Iroh from Avatar. He finds a flower and isn't quite sure what species it is. It's either a deadly poisonous one, or one that makes very good. Well, he tries it, it turns out to be poisonous and he gets very ill. His line while debating whether or not to make tea is "Delectable tea or deadly poison?" and that's what's on the mug. I think it's pretty funny. And of course I love Uncle Iroh.
This one is fun. It's a mug shaped like a camera lens. Very appropriate for a photographer like me. It's a little difficult to use as it doesn't have a handle and the lid comes off easily, but it's still fun.
This one is a Star Wars one. It has a load of different characters' lightsabers on it and when you put hot liquid in it the lightsabers light up! Very fun and clever.
This is another one that changes when you put hot liquid in it. It's Alice talking to the Cheshire Cat. When you put hot liquid in it the Cat disappears. Fun!
